Stateless is the debut studio album by American singer Lene Lovich, released in October 1978 by Stiff Records. The album is produced by Lene Lovich and Les Chappell, who credited themselves under the name "The Stateless". It was first released outside the United Kingdom, then a UK version of the album was released with a different tracklist and later it was released in the United States.
The lead single "Lucky Number" received very positive reviews from music critics, peaked at number 3 on the UK Singles Chart and became a defining song of the new wave genre.
