Blues Breakers With Eric Clapton (Mono Edition)

Sealed - Brand new 180 gram vinyl. Magnificent mono edition from original UK master tapes. Made in USA.

Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton is a blues/blues rock album recorded by John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers in 1966. It is the first studio album and the second overall credited to John Mayall, who teamed up for the first time in a studio release with ex-Yardbird Eric Clapton (their next and last time would be for six tracks of 1971's double LP Back to the Roots).

It is also known as The Beano Album because of its cover photograph showing Clapton reading The Beano,[4] a British children's comic. Clapton stated in his autobiography that he was reading The Beano on the cover because he felt like being "uncooperative" during the photo shoot.[2] The photographer was Derek Wedgbury and the location was near the Old Kent Road.
