When an artist has been as prolific for as long as blues legend John Lee Hooker, a lot of curious items pop up in the discography, including albums of unknown derivation and varying quality.  THE GREAT JOHN LEE HOOKER shares something with these recordings in that it's a small label release with no recording information.  That shouldn't scare you away, though.
