  • The Braille label was set up in the mid 80's to release new and often heavily improvised music that was coming out of the then thriving Wellington music scene. Based around the Braille music collective, a group of up to 20 committed musicians exploring the area of free improvisation as played by such people as the Globe Unity Orchestra, Sun Ra, Cecil Taylor, Ornette Coleman etc.
