180 gram vinyl LP featuring 4 studio tracks by The Christine Perfect Band from 1969 featuring the Yardbirds original guitarist Top Topham, plus 5 tracks from 1970 by a post Peter Green Fleetwood Mac featuring Christine Perfect, Danny Kirwan and Jeremy Spencer alongside Mick Fleetwood and John McVie.
Having contributed on every Fleetwood Mac release except the debut album and written eight of the bands greatest hits, there’s no doubt about Christine McVie’s (born Perfect) importance for the bands huge success. A classically trained musician, she changed her focus to rock’n’roll in her teens when her older brother introduced her to the likes of Fats Domino, and after five years in art college she joined her friends blues band Chicken Shack as a pianist. She met Fleetwood Mac’s John McVie in 1968 just as Chicken Shack had their first hit with ‘I Would Rather Go Blind’. Although she retired to be a housewife, she was soon encouraged to get a band together and in 1969 she recorded her first solo album, Christine Perfect.

This LP features 4 studio tracks recorded by The Christine Perfect Band in between Christine leaving Chicken Shack and joining Fleetwood Mac. Featuring the Yardbirds original guitarist Top Topham and her husband John McVie,  it also contains 5 tracks from 1970 by a post Peter Green Fleetwood Mac featuring Christine Perfect, Danny Kirwan and Jeremy Spencer alongside Mick Fleetwood and John McVie.
