Very nice clean vinyl with a smart cover.
Lōc-ed After Dark is the debut studio album by American rapper Tone Lōc.[1] It was released by Delicious Vinyl on January 23, 1989.[1] It reached number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.[2] It was certified Double Platinum by the RIAA.[1] It featured three singles: "Wild Thing", "Funky Cold Medina", and "I Got It Goin' On".[3] The album cover is based on Donald Byrd's 1963 album, A New Perspective.[4]
Steve Huey of AllMusic gave the album 4 stars out of 5, saying, "Loc's distinctively rough, raspy voice and easygoing delivery made him an appealing storyteller, but he was aiming for the streets more than the pop charts."[5]
