In 1996 Steely Dan embarked on their most ambitious jaunt yet, the Art Crimes Tour, which spanned the globe. On 21st July 96, the band played the Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, Virginia, an outdoor amphitheatre with space for 25,000 attendees, 35 miles west of Washington DC. Performing a dazzling selection of tracks from the pair s vast catalogue, this concert has often been cited as Dan s finest ever show. Fortunately, the whole thing was recorded for FM broadcast, and is now available in quite superb audio quality for the first time on this LP release.
