Beat Happening Covers

Brand new sealed 7" limited edition RSD release.

Mac DeMarco and Shamir have covered Beat Happening. Mac took on “Indian Summer,” while Shamir put his spin on “Run Down the Stairs.” Their covers will be released on a vinyl 7" appropriately titled Beat Happening Covers. It comes out on Record Store Day 2018 (Saturday, April 21). All profits from the release are being donated to the Immigrant Defense Project. Beat Happening Covers is just one of two Mac releases set for RSD 2018: He’s also releasing Old Dog Demos. As the title suggests, it’s a collection of demos for his 2017 LP This Old Dog.
