Primal Heart is the third studio album, written and conducted by New Zealand recording artist Kimbra. It was scheduled for release on 19 January 2018 through Warner Bros. Records.[3] However, on 9 January, Kimbra announced that the album's release had been pushed back to 20 April 2018.[4] Kimbra released "Hi Def Distance Romance" as a free exclusive download to fans signed up to her mailing list.[5] Singles from the album are "Everybody Knows", "Top of the World", "Human" and "Version of Me".
